Triodos Renewables Europe Fund offers a well-diversified portfolio of direct infrastructure investments in renewable energy power plants in Europe, allowing investors to participate in the green transition of the energy sector. By contributing to the development of the renewable energy sector the Triodos Renewables Europe Fund aims to increase the share of clean energy in the total energy demand and to reduce CO2 emissions. The fund provides capital through equity or subordinated loans to small and medium sized developers of renewable energy. The fund thus closes the funding gap between micro and utility-size projects.. Triodos Renewables Europe Fund is a sub-fund of Triodos SICAV II. A SICAV is an investment company with variable capital. This particular type of SICAV is a non-UCITS scheme registered in Luxembourg.
