ital Capital Fund is a $350 million private equity fund created to align with the principles of Impact Investing.
Vital was born out of a vision to enhance the quality of life of communities and families in developing African nations, while simultaneously delivering attractive returns to investors – ‘doing well’ AND ‘doing good’. With its first close in early 2011, Vital became one of the largest Impact Investing funds in the world.
Vital is focused on the fastest growing sectors in the Sub-Saharan African markets with a primary emphasis in housing, commercial agriculture, health care, and education.
Vital is led by a senior management team with over 30 years of cumulative ‘hands-on’ experience in initiating and executing ventures and businesses at scale in Africa.
