Impact thesis

CCC Private Equity looks to invest in asset developers & owners/operators or technology/product or services companies that contribute to a lower carbon, and a more sustainable environment. CPE only invests in companies associated with the following five sectors: Clean power, clean transport, energy efficiency, waste recovery and water efficiency.
The CPE team has also developed a systematic approach to help their portfolio companies assess the ESG factors within their operations, including: Natural resources; recycling of waste; emissions; working environment; health & safety; human rights; social engagements; governance; board related principles; management systems; shareholder principles and stakeholder principles. This process makes it straight-forward for these companies to make an assessment in terms of risk and impact of the various elements within ESG.
