The team focuses on the following sectors: coal mine methane; industrial energy efficiency (iron & steel, cement); destruction of industrial gases; renewable energy (wind, hydro, landfill gas); leaky gas pipes, forestry and agricultural waste. Impact thesis

The Carbon Finance team act as long term partners with (predominantly emerging market) host countries to ensure the financed projects meet the development needs and priorities of those countries. Making sure projects achieve the underlying technology transfer rational of the United Nation's Clean Development Mechanism, improving the health & safety standards of projects and generating income and training for a local workforce. To date, CCC's carbon funds have invested in 52 CDM projects and expect to save over 70 million tonnes of carbon pre 2013 in developing countries.
