Steve MacDonald joined SDS in 2008 as Managing Director. He has over 29 years of diverse experience in economic development, both in the private sector and in government. He oversees operations for SDS’ National New Markets Fund ($477 million deployed), focusing on originations and deployment. Prior to joining SDS, Mr. MacDonald served as president of Film L.A., the region’s primary film office and the world’s largest entertainment-based economic development corporation.
