The Hub Ventures Fund invests in early-stage for-profit impact ventures that participate in the Hub Ventures accelerator. We focus primarily on technology enabled and other scalable startups in a variety of impact sectors including economic development/job creation, health & safety, environmental sustainability, collaborative consumption, and civic engagement. We believe in the power of business and technology to solve real global problems, and we invest only in scalable models that offer sustainable and differentiated approaches to these intractable challenges. Furthermore, Hub Ventures is building infrastructure for investing in early-stage impact ventures, which generally speaking are an under-represented and under-invested group of companies vs. conventional startups.
