Edit this fund

PCC'11 is the third in a series of funds designed to invest equity in early-stage companies that provide meaningful social and/or environmental benefit to the world. Managed by two veteran (25+ years, each) venture investors with proven track records. SustainVC is a GIIRS Pioneer member.

Financial description

PCC Funds are designed to invest in companies past the business plan stage, but before the larger venture capital stages. Said otherwise, portfolio companies are generally seeking $500,000 to $5 million of funding. Funds follow prudent portfolio management strategies including diversification, and maintaining adequate reserves for follow-on financings. Funds generally follow strategy of 80% "Financial First"/20% "Social First" weightings (i.e. larger dollars invested into higher targeted return investments exceeding threshold social returns; and smaller dollars into higher projected social returns exceeding threshold of financial returns). Through experienced management, net positive returns to LPs targeted similar to other early stage non-social venture funds.
