Impact thesis

Latin Idea is convinced that its position as a leader in the Venture Capital industry in Mexico is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of the country by focusing on the underserved market of SMEs that are currently not addressed by the government, financial institutions or other international investors.
Fund III investments look to have a positive social and environmental impact. As a principle, Fund III will focus on job creation, technological access, social responsibility and target energy saving and clean technology subsectors.
Latin Idea believes that every company in its portfolio, as well as any future company that will be part of the Fund’s III portfolio, has the potential to create a positive impact in their communities and in the environment around them.
