Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) has been at the forefront of the impact investment movement in Asia since 2009. IIX leverages its expertise in innovative finance to mobilize capital for development with a focus on women empowerment, community resilience, and climate action. IIX has experience matching high-impact enterprises with impact investment capital and is a leader in impact assessment. IIX operates a private placement platform which connects investors with pre-screened impact enterprises. To enable enterprises to become investor-ready, IIX has conducted over 50 technical assistance projects and over 100 impact assessments. To date, IIX has raised nearly $30 million in impact investment capital for over 25 impact enterprises. IIX is also the portfolio manager for the Women’s Livelihood Bond, an $8 million portfolio of loans to organizations supporting women’s livelihoods in Southeast Asia, and the IIX Growth Fund, a $50 million fund making growth equity investments in impact enterprises in underserved markets in South and Southeast Asia. IIX’s activities in the region focus on five key sectors: Energy, Agriculture, Education, Healthcare and Water.
