Heart Capital is a boutique social venture capital company based in Cape Town, South Africa. Our goal is to drive significant social change in a financially sustainable way. We achieve this by combining philanthropy, the value creating capacity of entrepreneurship and the time proven model of venture capital.
Our unique value proposition includes offering investors access to an exclusive portfolio of social investment opportunities that possess the ability to deliver social and financial returns, otherwise referred to as blended value returns.
We finance through seed, venture and capital phases of development and only invest into high growth, high impact social enterprises. Our investment criteria are that the social enterprise concepts must be financially viable, scalable and replicable.
We work in partnership with the Heart Social Enterprise Accelerator – South Africa’s first social enterprise incubator.
