Fifth Season Ventures is an impact venture capital advisor focused on technologies which mitigate the environmental impact of agricultural & urbanization, build the circular economy, and improve asset utilization. FSV seeks market returns using a venture fund model, but with high environmental hurdles for the impact of the portfolio company’s technology.
FSV was founded in 2014 as a vehicle to fund a single company, Full Cycle Bioplastics. Full Cycle is a bioplastic manufacturing start up that uses organic waste as a feedstock. A second investment, in HarvestPort, an asset sharing platform for agriculture, solidified FSV’s identity as an impact investment firm.
