Founded in 2001, Diamond Ventures is a minority-owned partnership that will make structured debt and mezzanine investments with meaningful equity participation in U.S. small businesses. These businesses will have a significant percentage of their equity owned by racial or ethnic minorities, women, veterans, and/or be located in or hiring from, low- and moderate-income (“LMI”) or ethnic communities or businesses (collectively, “Ethnic Minority Businesses” or “LMI”).
Collectively, We have completed more than 1,000 separate U.S. debt financings in the last 25 years including more than 50 investments that produced a 41% gross IRR, saved or created over 20,000 jobs with over 70% of financings to LMI and minority led firms. DV is 100% minority owned and sees very attractive valuations in veteran, minority, and women led groups who have preferential purchasing as disabled vets, set-asides, and 8-A designations.
