Description

Cultivian was formed in 2006 by two experienced executives of the agricultural and venture capital industries to exploit the historic lack of venture capital investing in the food and agricultural sectors. These executive raised and invested fund I, and formed fund II. Sandbox Industries, LLC is a venture capital and business incubator founded in 2003 by a group of accomplished senior executives and venture capital professionals who have many years of experience creating, funding, financing, and operating businesses within larger enterprises. Cultivian II and Sandbox have partnered to form fund II, which will focus on technology opportunities in the agricultural and food sectors as a follow on to fund I.
