Description
BuildForward was formed in 2012 to provide funding for highly energy efficient building construction in the newbuild and retrofit markets starting initially in New York City. The firm comprises of an architectural design advisory entity (BuildForward Design LLC) and a construction loan business (BuildForward Capital LLC) that exclusively funds highly energy efficient construction approved by the architectural entity. BuildForward is part of the impact investing division of Valmiki Capital Management, an asset management company formed in 2005.
