Akeida Capital Management was founded in 2007 by Harvey Abrahams and David Kandolha who have been partners since 1994. The team continues a successful investment track record in the environmental markets while capitalizing upon new opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
Prior to founding Akeida, the principals were founding members of an environmental asset management firm that successfully managed and invested capital of over $300 million. Harvey and David have invested in the environmental markets since the ratification of the Kyoto Protocol in 2005 financing over 20 large scale carbon reduction and renewable energy projects globally. The partners successfully led these projects through rigorous technical and regulatory approval processes, certifying over 85 million tons of U.N. based carbon credits and bringing these compliance instruments to market.
