Founded in 2008, Greenmont Financial, LLC is a Boulder, CO based privately held venture capital firm that focuses on investments in the green consumer space. Greenmont Financial is the management company for Greenmont Capital Partners II, L.P., which began investing in 2008. grnfund, L.P. was formed in March of 2016 and has just begun to raise capital.
Todd Woloson and David Haynes are the managing directors for both funds and have worked closely since 2008, establishing a proven track record of generating deal flow, consummating impact transactions, and providing active board level guidance to portfolio companies.
Since 2008, the Managing Directors of GCP II have invested $27.4 million in five transactions consistent with the strategy described below. As of December 31, 2015, these investments have produced cumulative cash realizations of $13.4 million, had a remaining carrying value of $35.8 million, and had generated a gross IRR (realized plus unrealized) of 20.9%. Of the five investments, the two realized investments have produced a gross return multiple of 1.8x.
