Impact Performance
n.a.
Impact thesis
Women are disproportionately excluded from the US Venture Fund markets as recipients of investment dollars to fund their companies as GPs. Inclusion in venture capital financing is a powerful gateway to leadership positions in management, positions on corporate boards and wealth creation. The exclusion from venture capital financing thus manifests itself as part of the cause of limited numbers of women in top management, on corporate boards, and the low representation of women among the cohort of high net worth individuals. The iMpact Fund seeks to increase the inclusion of women in U.S venture capital markets by: lessening the funding gap for women-owned businesses, increasing women in management, increasing women on boards, addressing the gender wealth gap, and highlighting the important role of women and minority owned GP teams.
