The Ecosystem Integrity Fund (“EIF”) is a venture fund focused on generating significant financial returns by investing in companies that enable greater environmental sustainability. The fund seeks to achieve this goal by:
1)Identifying real businesses in mostly over-looked industry segments – businesses that have effective, in-demand, and scalable solutions;
2)Providing these businesses with the capital, strategic perspective, and hands-on management they need to succeed.
The fund will typically pursue investments in capital-efficient businesses which have not received sufficient investor attention, niche opportunities through which we can add significant value with limited capital, and opportunities to access or develop unique platforms.

Financial description
The fund makes equity (or convertible bridge) investments in early and growth stage companies. Initial investments range from $500K to $2M for early stage companies, and range from $1M to $3M for growth stage companies. The fund will invest up to $5M over the total life of an investment.
EIF seeks a meaningful stake in portfolio companies that can be secured for a reasonable amount of capital and which are not dependent on massive additional financing for success. It also pursues opportunities in which multiple attractive exit opportunities have been identified and may be achieved in a reasonable period of time.
The EIF will not invest in a technology or entrepreneur in need of a company to be built around it. The fund seeks to invest in established companies, with proven technology, solid management teams, and well thought-out business plans. The Fund may consider an investment in which one of these elements is somewhat weaker, if other aspects of the opportunity offer commensurately lower risk and there is a clear plan for addressing the weakness.
